Rowan Donnelly
Rowan is one of the Directors at NESE, as well as a Registered Surveyor with over 23 years in the industry, 14 of which have been with NESE. After growing up in nearby Glen Innes and studying at UNSW, Rowan found his way to Armidale, where he enjoys the country lifestyle.
As part of his day-to-day role at NESE Rowan enjoys meeting clients and contributing to new and interesting developments in the region. Away from the office, Rowan makes the most of his time with grandchildren and extended family and enjoys anything with wheels.
Director & Registered Surveyor
Sean Doodson
Sean is one of the Directors of NESE and has been in the industry for 15 years. Specialising as a registered surveyor, Sean holds a Bachelor of Surveying as well as a Graduate Diploma of Urban and Regional Planning. He enjoys the challenge of solving problems and finding solutions, as well as the opportunity to work on many different projects.
Sean shares two young daughters with his wife, Rose and enjoys living on their farm and someday hopes to wipe the dust of his motorcycle.
Project Manager
Mal Donnelly
As Project Manager at NESE, Mal enjoys Delivering projects from start to finish, applying skills and experience to solve problems and deliver the best value outcome for his clients.
Mal has over 25 years civil engineering experience in local government and consulting in the New England and Central West regions of NSW and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, graduating with honours.
Aside from participating in the weekly Parkrun at the UNE, Mal enjoys photography, mountain bike riding and camping trips with his family.
Office Manager
Leanne Cundy
Leanne is the NESE Office Manager and has been with the team for the past 11 years. Leanne is often the first point of call for our new clients, whom she enjoys meeting and helping through their development.
A born and bred Armidale local, Leanne enjoys visiting the many hotels, restaurants and coffee shops in the area with her friends, as well as the beautiful and vibrant Autumn colours that Armidale is renowned for.
Survey Assistant
Jeremy George
After growing up in nearby Guyra and stints living on the Coffs Coast and Sydney, Jeremy found his way back to the New England region and has been with NESE for 2 years.
Currently completing an Associate Degree of Spatial Science Majoring in Surveying, Jeremy enjoys problem solving, being a part of construction projects from concept through to completion and being back closer to friends and family.
Intern Planner & Field Hand
Douglas Glasson
Doug is NESE’s Intern Planner and Field Hand and has worked for the team since 2015, albeit a small break in 2018.
With the families farm located in Torryburn, Doug attended school in Armidale and studied an Undergraduate degree in Urban & Regional Planning at UNE.
Doug enjoys the local environment and small town feel of Armidale and caring for his families Bee Hive population.
